Apologies to the US peeps
I know about the Parliment. Sorry, I was speaking of monarchies in general not about the Royal Family, which is more a figure head now than anything.
I do very much agree with you on the US trying to act like big brother for the whole world. However, I’m sure whatever conflicts the US has stuck it’s nose in have somehow benefitted or protected the US either directly or indirectly, to serve the greater interest of the US down the road. Too bad we can’t make the politicians go and fight each other, instead of them sending someone else to do it for them. I swear, but I could be wrong, that President is Commander In Chief, so you would think he would lead the charge into all these little forays. Isn’t that what George Washington did? put his own ass on the line.
