STS-108 Preparations Continue
With STS-108’s target launch date drawing closer, processing of Space Shuttle Endeavour continues at Kennedy Space Center, Fla. Workers have completed crew module and external leak checks and auxiliary power unit checks. The orbiter’s payload bay doors were scheduled to be closed Monday. The attachment of the orbiter to the external tank is slated for next week. STS-108 is scheduled to launch no earlier than Nov. 29.
[b]Endeavour will be delivering the Expedition Four crew and the Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module to the International Space Station.[/b]
