I don’t really think Jabba compares to some of the big bad guys like the Emporer and HDS. All the times I’ve seen Star Wars, I’ve never been afraid of him…just disgusted.
Really good baddies like HDS are the ones that give you little chills up and down your spine–like when he made the one soldier kill the other and then kill herself–just because he could. _That’s_ evil. Jabba was just an oversized slug…repulsive but not terrifying.
