Kai’s feelings for Xev

Maybe he figured that Xev didn’t really hate him.
He seemed hurt in Gigashadow when Zev didn’t like his baby (Squish)
But who knows why Kai does what he does? There was that kiss with Zev at the end of Gigashadow and when he ‘inspected’ May’s wound in May.
