The rigid structure of Fire may have been due to it being a repository for all those who made bad choices. At the other end, Water was the place of good souls who made the right choices. Bearing that in mind, rigidity would not seem neccessary.
I had a question occur to me as the freed souls headed “over the rainbow”. Was the little blue planet inhabited by people before everyone from Fire and Water got there? Mayhap the released souls (for lack of a better word)are now the inhabitants.
