Regarding boards and cliques:
Maybe I’m just oblivious, but I haven’t noticed any real problems with cliques
on lexx.com (or here either obviously [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img])
Everyone just seems to ramble away. I don’t see why any new fans would be put off by it. Whatever happens in chat there doesn’t noticeably spill over to the board.
The scifi.com board is just weird, but I wonder if anyone actually finds that one first anyway.
Valdron, I suppose you have your reasons for being unhappy with fandom, but the people who post and chat are really a tiny percentage of the people who actually saw the show and liked it. I’m not sure what you’re looking for–a way to keep the pleasures of the show alive I imagine. But it seems to me that the dynamics of fandom have to change once a show ends.
Hell, maybe we should all help Flamegrape build the mother of all fan-sites for Lexx, I don’t know. [img]images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img]
