Google is a great resource, not only does it spider whole sites quickly it also caches pages so you can sometimes get information there from sites that are down. Copernic is a good resource since it compares results from multiple search engines, and is a good way to rate your own ranking. The FAST search is pretty good since it will spider your whole site quickly, it still lists the complete contents of my site and locations that don’t exist anymore..
[rant]Yahoo is such a pain, take a look at the listing, not many sites are listed considering the amount out there, and there are sites listed now that are fairly recent, Xandria’s being a very recent addition which is most annoying since a lot of the content is ripped straight from other sites. Lexx Universe has been down for ages, Lydia’s page hasn’t changed for a long time, and now appears to be down too… even Splarka had a hard time getting listed.[/rant]
Here is a good search engine resource: http://www.laisha.com/search.html

Always had trouble with that one.. first time I got on it (never figured out how I managed that either) I was suddenly removed, possible because F9 (the location at the time) was down for a while. I also lost my AV listing, which is a real hard one to manage too.
