Ah. Too many questions all at once.
I can tell you that LEXX made it past any other scifi show by giving us sex, drama and comedy together.
It’s popular, amongst the intelligent few who are britcom fans and scifi readers.
What do I want? More Music.
Get Marty Simon and Andre Haines back to rescore the new episodes. The reason why LEXX was REALLY different was it’s music.
Plot lines?
I hear that the Earth will be tortured by our ragtag crew. Great. Just as long as they don’t stay too long.
I think that as in the Wizard of Oz, Stan should find his courage, Zev her hubbie and Kai – should find – enlightenment. Perhaps a stray Brunnen-G still lives amongst the Earthers. Perhaps there is hope for civilization as a whole.
You’ve got to find your way back to the fact that Kai is actually the main character. he’s the one with the real problems, the life or death decisions. He is the balance of power on the show, both morally as well as physically.
Just remember – Kai searches for NOTHING. He does not desire life, or death, OR enlightenment. These things have to be thrust upon him. (irm, no pun intended)
Xev should learn something..so should Stan. Morally, this series needs work. In – between, comedy and sex can rule as they stumble their way through our universe.
If you require help, I have many story lines in the making. I also know other people who may have scripts prewritten, that would only require tweaking in order to fit in with the new season.
