lexx writers
New writers? Has everyone gone mad? If I am not mistaken, Lexx episodes have only been written by three people; those being Paul, Lex, and Jeff.
Suddenly there are new writers? Are the guys already working on new and more important projects and now no longer have time for one of the only shows I really truly enjoy?
Lexx is unlike any other show because of the combined lunacy of these three particular men. Adding other people to the equation can, I beleive, only hurt the show. I fear that inserting new people and ideas may change the entire dynamic of Lexx, it did with Xena. Lexx has a rare integrity and I would be deeply saddened,(and ****ed!), if it were compromised.
Lexx doesn’t give us what we want, it teases us and does the unpredictable. Asking what the people want? They have to stoop so low as to ask the fans for ideas? What is going on in Lexxville? I fear for the future.
Lexx doesn’t follow the safe formulaic steadfast rules of the basic “successfull” televison show. It is a unique and candid show that doesn’t hide the naughty and unpleasent sides of life behind innuendo; it shows them off. Life is messy, life is strange, life is unpredictable, and so is Lexx; which is why I love it and want it to remain the way it is.
