Oh, my freakin’ stars and garters, Sad! Is this new writer a condition of SciFi’s footin’ the bill? For the love of mike, no Star Trek endings! No predictable endings! No nicey-nice, “ain’t life a sweet bed o’ roses” outlook (unless the person having that outlook is to be promptly eaten or braced by a mad, yellow-eyed Kai). No turning Kai into Mr. Data (I almost spewed in “Generations” when Data was laughing and crying and dripping with so-called ‘human’ sentimentality).

Which season was best? They were all too different to be compared, really. Season two was cool because they had more chances to introduce new elements and guest stars. Season three is cool because there was a chance to see the characters evolve and grow(kinda).

What do we want more of? More of the same! We do not want to be able to predict how every show will turn out, the way we can with our more homogenized scifi shows. Personally, I’d like more 790 (and, let him fall back in love with Xev; he was too subdued when he was in love with Kai).
Okay, gotta go do bubbly now. More rants later. Happy Gnu Ears!
