may be its a bias of mine; but when I think Hollywood types i don’t think sincerity, truthfulness, altruism, or any of those traits I desperately want to cultivate in myself.
I don’t aspire in my life to make $2 miliion dollars, get pieces of metal and own more stuff and be pandered by people that will kiss ass until you turn away THEN talk about you behind your back and if you hit a slump or crisis, climb over each other to grind you under their heel.
Those people do not interest me in the least.
Some, true, are respectworthy, but well they are few and far between.
It’s as if they have a shellac of kindness and sweetness, and openess that covers some darker motivations and ugliness; like fake storefronts they used in the old West to build up a very ordinary if not dilapidated buildings. All that body consciousness hides a lack of inner spark, inner peace and inner joy.
Nothing others can “Give” you can create joy, joy is what you give yourself even in the most trying times.
Some part of this Moore man vacillates between joy and despair. i understand this. It’s possible to reach that balance but YOU have to the work; your wife can’t do it for you. No one can do it; you must do it; the acceptance of who you are fully right here and right now.
If this is your goal, no one or nothing can take joy and light from you, no matter the circumstance
