Stan’s real strength as a character is in the fact he is as human as the rest of us. He shows us that any average person can be a hero but not go looking for it. He shows us that true strength comes from being who you are and not trying to be something your not. He is a truly extraordinary example of humanity. He is a perfect microcosm of all of our faults and all of our strengths. I would rather have a hundred Stanley Tweedles than a million captain Picards.
