I agree, I do feel part of a community, and it is a tribute to the legacy of Lexx that people are still so hyped about it a year after the last episode aired.
It is the talents and creativity of other Lexxians that keep me involved in this fandom. It is a truly unique fanbase.
I would also like to see that cyber-party happen. I’ll bring the cheesy poofs. SciFi.com is asking people to stop by their Lexx Bar on Friday as a sort of block party for Lexxian unity. I will be there, and I hope to see lots of other board’s Lexxians there too.
I think it’s more important than ever to be united in the cause of being ambassadors for Lexx, with the lack of Lexx on the airwaves right now. We need to keep this fandom reeling in newbies so that TPTB will know we still want DVD’s, conventions, and the like. This was my soapbox moment ( Funk said I could drag my soapbox over here from Lexx.com 😉 )
In conclusion, I say, ” We fight for Lexx! “
