This is my lastt Gally convention, unless…
Hi Fellow Lexxians,
I know I’ve been bragging about a convention in Southern CA called, `Gallifrey One’s 15 Minutes of Fame’ & the guests of whom I’d like to see again & meet for the 1st time; when I received their newsletter, then checked their web site, I was upset at the price/night. I looked at the Gally site last week, & noticed other hotels in the area, but no shuttle service; so I asked & the reply was that they didn’t have the money for a shuttle. I then contemplated on what to do, then discussed it with my parents before making a final discission; when I made my final discission, I made it knowing this would be my last Gally for awhile or until they get their act together.
Next month, will be my my last Gally, unless the Gally staff either gets their act together & get a bigger hotel, making sure that the hotels surrounding the main 1 isn’t too far away & within walking distance; also, they need to provide a shuttle for those people who are staying at the other hotels. Dragon*Con’s more organized & a lot more thoughtful of those things; I used think that way about Gally, now I don’t. The Gally staff is very disorganized & very sloopy; also very thoughtless when it comes to their attendees.
When I come back from my convention, I’ll tell you all about it, what went on & who actually attended; also, I’ll tell you more about my Keyeo costume & how I’m getting ready for Dragon*Con. I’ll also be looking into next yr’s MegaCon convention (since my parents have been there & I haven’t) & be asking some of you about it.
