When does one stop being a newbie?
This has been a very enlightening discussion, although I have to say I’m still not sure if I’m a newbie or not. I’ve been watching Lexx for about 10 months now, and have seen all the eps except for a few S4s. I have the trading cards, all the DVDs that have been released, and would have had a number of the props had I not been outbid at the last minute on eBay! I only started posting in April or so, mostly on some of the other Lexx bboards, where the topics often allow even know-just-a-littles like myself to contribute. Thus, I lurk here more often than not, in deference to the superior wisdom of most of the posters! (I still should register one of these days).
I have to say THANKS! to the many kind and patient souls who do not slam newbies simply because they are just that. I have seen the old “So how long have YOU been posting here?” line and I find it reflects more negatively on the person who writes it than the person it’s directed towards.
Anyway, I’m really glad to have someone to “talk” to about Lexx, as I personally know only one other fan here.
