a pointless parable or story.
Ben Franklin wrote in 1783, “If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing!”
Cool little motto,..huh?
It sounds to me that when you jumped out of that airplane,..you did something for yourself in your attitude about altitude and your own perception of yourself.
Very cool,.indeed.
In jumping out of the airplane with your parachute,..you did something that changed your philosophy and changed your perspective on life. Jumping out of that airplane gave you something in life that was worth talking about and writing about and most likely,..if you write about that jump..if your present mode of expression is any indication,..what you write about that jump will be well worth the reading!!
Are you sure that you are not a “disciple” of Ben Franklin? (joke!)
Sounds like you have good “DNA”..as in “Dynamic Natural Ability” as opposed to bad “DNA”…”Don’t Know Anything!”
Yes,..the activities that I called “speculation”..were events from my own life. I rarely think of them as they lead to a “peak” moment in my life that almost ended a family member’s life. Telling you about them is in a sense..freeing up my own psyche so that I can write about them later on.
I think that I lost someone,.who was willing at one time to help me put certain thoughts on paper,..because I could not come up with certain details fast enough..at least,..I think that was the reason. I really am not sure.
Have to go but will continue discussion tomorrow. I was a guest speaker today in a writing class and those students had good… “DNA!”
They wore me OUT!! 😀
