Zev or Xev
Was Zev more innocent? I felt that she seemed more tormented, perhaps, from seclusion, fear of His Divine Shadow and the cluster lizard thing. The cluster lizard half came across better in Zev as well, with more animalistic screaming and such. Xev was more kick-ass, but in a feminist way (sort of), while Zev, at times, seemed more likely to devour an offending person’s brain.
When she was reconstucted as Xev, she immediatly seemed more carefree and less tormented, in my view. Her memories of living in a box only really came back to her in Woz (series 2) and Battle (Series 3).
I think innocence is perhaps the wrong word for Zev. If anything, her secluded life gave her a feeling of right which was rarely found in the Lexx universes. Xev held less of these morals, it seems, since she became more carefree.
