“Star Trek-the Animated Series” was released with no fanfare on CD this week I guess–I found it at Target of all places.
Does animated Trek qualify as cult TV? Of course, many of you are much too young to remember the olden days when Star Trek was still the gold standard. However, for those of us who don’t mind displaying our age, this is a true trip down memory lane.
Still fits all the Classic Star Trek requirements: silly aliens, bad effects, noble story lines, cheesy music. But we do finally get to see what would happen if a Klingon phaser strike knocked out the “artificial gravity”!
