After two years in early access Oxygen Not Included has now been officially launched, and we should all play it. It’s a gorgeous hand-drawn colony builder that makes you balance an absolutely insane amount of variables and never stops throwing increasingly complex problems at you, and it’s so blissfully addictive.
The Purple, Green, Blue Triune Theme doesn’t exactly blow me away as the coolest theme for a season ever, but it is pretty good and to be honest, the last season theme was so crappy, I didn’t even bother trying to exploit it. I just played the character and got my greens and waited for the next season.
In a few days time (27th August 2019), the classic version of WoW that we all told everyone we played (but we didn’t because it meant we would have been 3 years old) is out – and it will only cost an arm and a leg to play it!
Really hated the presentation today on the Google website about Stadia. The smug person that tied to promote the $9.99 deal annoyed me so much I had to turn the screen off. The concept of console-less gaming is awesome and I’m almost definitely going to be getting involved in Stadia, the trouble is, it’s unproven
Surviving Mars is a maddeningly addictive city building sim from the Bulgarian developer Haemimont Games AD best known for the Tropico franchise. For the fans of Tropico the game will definitely have a familiar feel, except this time we get to be mad power-hungry dictators IN SPACE.
Hitman is a stealth video game developed by IO Interactive. The game was published by Square Enix for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in an episodic format, starting in March 2016.
Flying planes, riding bikes off cliffs and opening parachutes etc., it gets bit too epic and for me it started to get a bit silly.
Xbox is just another gaming console – It’s really good, but there are lots to chose from (and even the new Google Stadia to consider). This review is more about getting you to consider gaming as a good option for your Sci Fi fix.
