Well it looks like one hand does know what the other is doing afterall. Scifi US, UK and Space Cast will all be showing original LEXX at about the same time. On Jan 24 Scifi UK will air A midsummer’s nightmare. Scifi US will follow suit about 30 hours later. Spacecast will reair it the following Wednesday. If this trend continues, virtually all the major countries (Sorry Austrailia, Sweden I habe no clue what you guys are up to) will see new LEXX at nearly the same time.

Wow so all the weird airing dates and breaks and other chaotic stuff did actually have a purpose! So its not a government procedure afterall, who knew?!

Yeah that is really nice. Although I still maintain that Prince is the Programming Director for Sci-Fi USA. And we all know, well Prince is bad.

Well we just had Walpurgis Night in Australia, so we’re still a bit behind.

That’s not too bad, you guys are only 2-3 weeks behind the rest of us. At leat the time laspe isn’t as bad as it was in the past; when the difference was counted in years.

Regarding upcoming episodes, here are the descriptions of the Feb. 25 and Feb. 1 episodes from the online TV Guide listings:

    A Midsummer’s Nightmare
Stan and Kai journey to London in search of a magic forest, where an ancient feast may hold the key to returning Xev back to the world of the living.

    Bad Carrot
Prince, Priest and Bunny plot to sneak aboard Lexx by taking a shuttle to the ship, unaware they are carrying a stowaway in the form of a killer carrot.

And here’s the schedule of telecasts from scifi.com:

    02/01/2002 10:00 PM BAD CARROT
    02/01/2002 1:00 AM BAD CARROT
    02/08/2002 10:00 PM 769
    02/08/2002 1:00 AM 769
    02/10/2002 2:00 AM 769
    02/15/2002 10:00 PM PRIME RIDGE
    02/15/2002 1:00 AM PRIME RIDGE
    02/17/2002 2:00 AM PRIME RIDGE
    02/22/2002 10:00 PM MORT
    02/22/2002 1:00 AM MORT
    02/24/2002 2:00 AM MORT

Notice that “Bad Carrot” is the only episode that’s going to be shown twice, but not three times. Does this reflect a certain hesitancy on the part of Scifi in televising it, or is there a less sinister explanation? (Although one would think if they were put off by the content—as the descriptions of this episode suggest—they would have banished it to the Monday-at-2:00 a.m.-Siberia instead of showing it in prime time).
Looking forward (with some trepidation) to the new episodes,
    Puzzler
