About Kin Dza-Dza: I just saw this movie last night and today I txted with a co-worker who was a citizen of USSR at the time it came out. And to quote him "… It was ad…" In other words, state propaganda. I don’t see it but that’s what he said. Thought folks might be interested in that info.And I am interested in what others think of that.
I’m not so sure it was an ad or soviet propoganda. There was a funny bit in the film where they were surprised at the new planet they landed on and wondered if it was capitalist, but to be honest, getting Kin Dza Dza through the Soviet Film sensors would have been a nightmare. For me, it could easily have been a protest film againt comunism!
