Well, it is obvious that Rolf is a born leader, I mean really, how many actors get on TV as the President of the United States and a past President (or head of goverment, or supreme bean) of Germany in the sam season.
Mr. Kanies (President Priest) is going to be on Starz March 9th in “Joe and Max”. Rolf’s latest role is as Hitler. This film is about how boxers Joe Lewis and Max Schmeling fought in the ‘30’s and then became friends. This 2002 biopic recounts the two epic pre-WWII heavyweight bouts between American “Brown Bomber” Joe Louis and Hitler’s “Aryan Superman,” Max Schmeling. For acting honors it’s a draw between Leonard Roberts (Louis) and Til Schweiger (Schmeling), who go toe-to-toe in this cinematic slugfest. More than just a sports bio, the movie crosses political, racial and diplomatic lines as it illustrates how the two fighters were perceived in their respective countries. It also plays like a toned-down buddy film: Despite being dogged rivals in the ring, the men developed a lifelong friendship outside it. The made-for-cable film is rated PG-13 for strong language and violence.Cast: Til Schweiger, Leonard Roberts, Richard Roundtree, Peta Wilson, David Paymer, Siena Goines, Garland Whitt, Bruce Weitz, Paul Collins, Jurgen Schornagel, J.J. Gordon, August Zirner, Wilfried Hochholdinger, Rolf Kanies, Daniel Hugh Kelly, Frank Shattuck
