didn’t know if this would be of interest to anyone, but i heard about this company that makes replica Daleks on the radio today. the company has been going 6 months and is based in Coalville, not far from me. they have a web site- [url=http://www.dalekdirect.co.uk]www.dalekdirect.co.uk[/url]

(not loaded of course [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] )There used to be a wooden dalek in the top window of Forbidden Planet opposite Cardiff Castle. Dissapeared about the time they were doing building work (along with the lifesize Freddy Kreuger).
Dunno whether it was a replica or one of the extras from the film/stage productions.
