ParticipantHey yall, Im brand new to this board and pretty new to Lexx as well. I know a lot about b5 and other shows, but nothing about lexx. My question is, how do you think the Divine Order would compare in power and technology to the races of B5, startrek, and star wars?

GuestI think they could go toe to toe with the Empire, technology wise (Lexx is more manouverable than the Death Star and can fire more quickly, and the ship that destroyed Brunnis 2 was terrifying). But the Empire would have an advantage in numbers I think.

ParticipantI agree with Stu, the Foreshadow was one mean machine. Perhaps the empire had the numbers on the Divine Order because they didn’t use their population as fuel for various science projects

Participantyeah the megashadow was very impressive. And their tech is impressive. I just didnt know if in the series or movies if they ever encountered any other alien races that opposed them.
PS. I thought the divine shadow creatd the lexx amino acids and the heretics stole them.21st September 2002 at 5:31 am #53606Flamegrape
ParticipantThe Divine Order would have technology comparable to something like the Centauri, but with more deadly firepower like the Vorlons. It doesn’t sound like it makes sense. But check out I Worship His Shadow and Gigashadow from the first season. You’ll see what I mean. The Divine Order did not employ organic technology. The Lexx was the exception and that was designed by the Heretics, the rebels fighting against the Divine Order.
