The new film Babylon 5: The Legend of the Rangers[/b] will be produced by the old team from Babylon 5. JMS wrote the story and Douglas Netter will return to executive produce the film.
According to Sci Fi Wire, it looks like G’Kar will be the main Bab5 character returning and not the character Marcus as many people had hoped. I’m pretty sure that this doesn’t rule the geezer out of the series though.
Thanks to Traci for emailing me this news info.

And in what timeframe does it play?
During the first season? (Only a handfull of Rangers then)
Second? Third? (Would be cool with Entil’zha Sinclair)
To me during the Shadow war would be the coolest thing.
However i would also like to see some more Non-Aligned Rangers. And they didn’t come around until after the Shadow War.But the most important thing would be: why G’Kar?

He was listed as “creative consultant” on B5 and had a cameo appearance on one of the later episodes as a psi-cop. He’s a terrific writer and generator of ideas.
