Quick Question about "Mind War"

This ep was pretty cool, Besters debut!! Having just seen this ep I was wondering if that ship that Sinclairs girlfriend sees is a Shadow ship? I’ve read spoilers about the Shadow War in the later seasons and it was talked about a lot in the final season. So I was wondering if this was the first precursor.
