Am I the only one here who realises that the Shadows of of B5 look kinda like the Shivans off of freespace(2)?

Not trying to hijack your thread but dont want to start one of my own to ask this:
What’s the 3 ages of Mankind that they refer to in the beginning? I’ve watched the final series and the first 2, but still not sure what they are referring to.
Land, sea, Space? Or something else?
thanks kai
6th June 2002 at 10:41 pm #58373AnonymousGuestDoesn’t Sheridan describe them in season 4’s Endgame- something like at first they were in the dark, then they were being manipulated, now (in the third age) they are free to govern themselves without the interference from the First Ones
7th June 2002 at 4:27 am #58374AnonymousGuestI havent seen S4 yet :/ But you might be right. I always thought of it as egocentric to humanity since it was called
“The third age of humanity”
But later Delenn and Londo describes it in “The Beginning” as having existed in “The Third Age” but not necessarily inferring that its strictly humanities third age.
So I begin to wonder if the 2nd age was the Ancients and Minbari vs Shadows, and the 1st age as the birth of the Ancients which included the Shadows perhaps at the hands of “The Hand of God” from Thirdspace and LotR? Im assuming they are both in the same.

Lol. Yeah, I never really liked B5 mainly cause I only saw it here and there. Then recently Sci-Fi gave it a permanent spot and started over from the very beginning so Ive done a complete 180. Probably one of the best Sci-Fi series of all time after only seeing all the movies; and the first 2, and final seasons.
Lexx is still by far the best But B5 kicks any Star Trek or Farscape series right in the ass in my opinion.
