so come do your best or worst
Grey 17 is one of my favourites for the bin
and most of the rouge telepath episodes in season 5
except the one where they all die…evil aren’t I??13th January 2001 at 4:34 pm #58403AnonymousGuestHehe,
I really liked all of the episodes except the ones in season 5 with the telepaths (especially the shows with the ‘huggy huggy’ songs) and that most hateful of all sci fi episodes EVER, “A View From the Gallery”. It was patronising drivel and Janet Greek who directed it and the massively overrated geezer who co-wrote it (erm.. I forgot his name – serves him right) should be whipped for such an awfull show.

27th January 2001 at 8:30 am #58404AnonymousGuestI liked most of the episodes… the rogue teep ones were okay to me because I love Lyta, but Byron… *shudder.*
Anyhow. As for the worst ever… I have to say Infection. Not just for the bad quality of the lighting, etc. (which was normal in the first season), but because it was just far too preachy for its own good… I mean, there must have been about six-seven different ‘oh how bad this was they made this thing’ or ‘look out or we’ll go the way they did’ speeches in the thing. And I tend to like shows other people consider ‘preachy,’ so…

Tom Stoppard wrote a play called “rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead” (gasp! a literate geezer!). which is about 2 minor and insignificant characters part of a much larger pictue. I agree it does stink at time (the franklin bit) but when you look for the similarities it’s a lot more fun to watch, and definitely not the worst episode ever.

”No dictator, no invader, can hold an imprisoned population by the force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against that power governments, and tyrants, and armies can not stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.” G’Kar (The Long Twilight Struggle)
Spike as Rachel – “Oh, how can I ever thank you, you mysterious black-clad hunk-of-a-knight thing?”
Spike as Angel -“No need, little lady. Your tears of gratitude are enough for me… You see… I was once a bad-ass vampire… but love — and a pesky curse — defanged me, and now, I’m just a BiiiiiiiGG FLUFF-Y PUPP-Y with BAD TEETH! No, not the hair… Never the hair…”
As Rachel – “But there must be some way I can show my appreciation…”
As Angel – “No, no… helping those in need’s my job… And working up a load of sexual frustration, and prancing away like a *magnificent poof* is *truly* thanks enough…”
As Rachel – “I understand… I have a nephew who’s gay, so…”
As Angel – “Say no more! Evil is still afoot… And I’m almost out of that Nancy-boy hair gel I like so much. Quickly! To the Angel-mobile! Away!” Spike15th March 2002 at 11:52 pm #58407AnonymousGuestIn MY opinion, when it comes to Babylon 5, there is NO such thing as a ‘worst episode’. When it comes to characters however, I believe that we oughta rip off Byron’s unmentionables, stuff them in his mouth, and make him smoke them like a cigar. So there.
