where can i see the show?

A friend and i have been fans of the books for years, but never knew there was a tv show. I guess it’s never been on in canada… or at least not in our lifetimes. Will we ever be able to experience first hand this incarnation of a fantastic story?
It is (or at least used to be) available on BBC video, I’ll have a look for it if you like. You can probably get hold of it in UK PAL format, although you may have trouble viewing that in CA.
I suppose it’s worth saying that the series is looking incredibly dated now and is more of a nostalgia thing than anything, plus there are some bits that didn’t really work out (DA was really unhappy with the producer for one thing).
