Watched a little harmless fantasy on BBC America tonight, Randall and Hopkirk (deceased). Your basic buddy detective show with the twist is that Hopkirk was murdered in the first episode and comes back as a ghost. And “Who” 😆 should show up in the second ep in a Mr. Jordan role but Tom Baker, sans scarf. I don’t know if he was hamming it up for his fans, but he played it much like he was still gallivanting about the cosmos in a Tardis.
The show itself isn’t bad. As I said above, it is a harmless fantasy. Apparently it is a remake of a 1960s BBC series. 🙂

Apparently the good doctor will be a regular. Here is the scoop from http://www.bbcamerican.com…
Jeff Randall (Bob Mortimer, Shooting Stars) and Marty Hopkirk (Vic Reeves, Shooting Stars) are detective partners with a unique working relationship – one of them is a ghost.
Murdered in episode one, Marty Hopkirk returns as a white-suited ghost, only visible to his ex-partner, Jeff Randall. Together they continue to solve bizarre and surreal mysteries.
Helping to run the investigation business is Hopkirk’s ex-fiancee, Jeannie (Emilia Fox, The Pianist, Coupling), and his spiritual mentor, Wyvern (Tom Baker, Dr. Who). The unlikely trio take on everything from haunted hotels to kidnapping and suspicious suicides.
