The Beans have boiled

I’m not sure that forcing the Beans into another series of Lexx against their will would be a good thing, really – at best, it would lead to a season of inferior, careless shows, with no pre-planning. At worst, it would have the characters reduced to shells of themselves and then killed, or absent entirely, like with Douglas Adams’s “Mostly Harmless”.

If Season 4 is the last, it will not be without cause – the crew of the Lexx have seen the end of a universe, they’ve been through Heaven and Hell… perhaps, in the ultimate irony, the Planet Earth – which we’ve been expecting to get destroyed from the end of series 3 – will actually be where they can finally find a home. And the last time we see the Lexx, it might be under the control of the army…
