actually, yes , and it’s a good plausible explanation…but somehow i suspect that you have put more thought into this than the beans did [img]http://www.sadgeezer.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img] so protoblood is prototype blood based on insect biology and nanites? the pupa of the insects, at least on earth, change colors as they mature then desicate, so it makes sense that the protoblood would too…
