What Squishy said. I’d add that if you wanted to go the multi-region route, it would be best to research all of the options available to you. Lots of players have problems handling discs that are anamorphically enhanced for widescreen TVs. Most “legit” players can handle the conversion from anamorphic widescreen to letterbox display on a regular set, but some have definite problems with this and can only show the picture “squeezed” so that everyone appears tall and skinny.
