Something I’ve wondered, too. What if Water weren’t exactly the opposite of Fire? If Fire represented Hell, what if Water represented not Heaven, but some sort of Purgatory? I know, I know, there was the “Heaven and Hell” episode. But I wonder because Water was outwardly a “good” place, but the Water dwellers were a little strange themselves. The people of Gametown and Boomtown seemed locked into their routines, as pleasant as they were, just as much as the people of Fire. Why did Root in Boomtown seem to recognize living Kai, and greet him with a kiss, IIRC? Damn, now my head hurts again. [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]
