When you have a show headed by someone who has a background in physics, and hard science is among the first things to go out the window (and the science in LEXX has *always* been shoddy), there’s no point in criticizing it because the scripts aren’t scientifically plausible. It’s been made clear by now that they don’t *care* about being scientifically accurate, and instead care more about telling entertaining stories.(Oh, and while you’re here, Mantrid never says “Bucky ball” in “Brizon.” When describing the trap he set for Brizon, he says that he found the bug he (referring to Brizon) installed in his machine.)
