When Kai told Xev he’d seen his life essence in Water, also said he didn’t think it would have any memory of his life as Kai. His soul had been reincarnating on Water ever since he died – 6,000 years ago. Maybe his soul didn’t come back to him because of such a long separation? Or maybe because he’s not organic any more? Even if his soul came back to him, his body would still be a decarbonized dead thing? Just blabbering off the top of my head here…
If Kai’s soul went to Earth, then there should be a live Kai walkin’ around, huh? Oooh.
