Dork has some history with the Cartoon Network, actually. He, with Sarah Dyer, contributed scripts for several episodes of Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

quote
Dorkin was starting to scare me with his depressing stories in recent Dork comics.
I thought that the last ish of Dork was back in the light-hearted mode again after the completely serious and depressing previous issue (I think it’s the one where Bill Dickey of the Eltingville club gets “deprogrammed” by 2 muscle-bound former fanboys). I haven’t checked for a new Dork in a couple months, though.

quote
I wonder if we’ll get to see the serialkiller-family sitcom… or was it on there and I missed it?
I think they’re the “Murder Family?” I can’t remember their exact name right off hand, and don’t have my comix handy. At any rate, I didn’t see them this week (though I must have left the room for a few minutes, as I don’t remember the little sister, except from the opening credit sequence). I’m checking it out again on Thursday (11 pm Eastern!).

quote
I was floored when he made that Ray Dennis Steckler reference. A good follow-up question would have been, “What was Ray’s stage name in that same movie?”
That would be Cash Flagg. Ray’s a personal favorite of mine. He acted under the Cash Flagg moniker in a number of movies, and really shone in The Thrill Killers. He also shot several Arch Hall, Jr. movies, including Wild Guitar (co-starring under the name Cash Flagg again) and the perennial MST3K fave, Eegah!
