    PLEASE!!!!!! Compress the images more!

    I don’t understand how you can even get the files so big. 60kb on a 289×209 JPEG is abnormal.

    The largest I can possibly get an image like that is 45kb in JPEG format. You could easilly get it down to 15kb without any visible JPEG-artifacts.

    Wich program do you use to compress the images?

    My modem bleeds.

    [b]I convert them from .bmp’s into High Quality .jpg, which may account for their size. I think the ones I send to New Kate are futher compressed. I don’t like to compress them too much more, because then they are unuseable for other things.[/b]
