except this time it will be on purpose…can’t wait; it just occurred to me the other day how much more interesting angel is when he is evil and that a large part of his appeal is knowing just how nasty he can be….hmm does anyone else think the angel and buffy storylines are going towards a big intersection this season? i mean, we have big bad/apocalypse stuff happening on both, reunions of the old gangs, and faith due to appear on both…i just wonder if angel is going to somehow be present at buffy’s death (i think they will finally kill her to redress the balance that was messed with by willow’s interference)…any ideas folks? how about spoilers?
23rd January 2003 at 9:05 am #64489FXParticipantokay, so we have established the reason for angelus being invoked with tonight’s angel…gotta say, although i am excited about angelus’ return, i felt somewhat manipulated tonight; let’s bring back angelus and get the buffy fans on board for nostalgia’s sake..

sconner is NOT the source the demon is seeking, nor the’answer is among you’ that demonchild so enigmatically referred to…i am happy about this as i feel conner was going the short and miserable life of buffy…i am tired of the tension of the wes/fred/gunn triangle…and i am also tired of angel’s peevishness…let’s face it; 250 years should have given angel some insight into the fact that he cannot be any girl’s dream date, so he really is not entitled to a prolonged snit about the cordy thing…on the other hand, i guess having a soul, and whatever peevishness the implied humanity of THAT condition implies, means that he cannot help feeling bitter about his enforced solitude…sigh…well, can’t wait for next week…and by the way, i liked the ‘loving memory of glenn quinn’ caption at the end; at least the guy got some kudos, even if it is too late, and from the show that killed off his character…

I think #they will kill of BUffy too. The last episode was a real teaser though. Everyone thought that the new chosen one would be Dawn and it turned out that she was just standing in the wrong place at the wrong time!
I guess I felt a bit deflated and manipulated after that little trick
Not seen Angel yet, just downloading it from the net
Sounds like a cracker though

that is exactly what went through my mind when i saw this last ep! and i was thinking just how cool that would be! but i am not too hopeful, cause it is 2 different networks and when have we known 2 networks to cooperate!
i am also tired of the fred/gunn/wes triangle. i love the way that wes has been ‘playing’ with ‘evil’ so to speak. but i think that he has always been basically good, just tortured. and fred and gunn need to get over that portal thing with her ex-teacher! the dude was totally evil and deserved what he got. the two of them have killed demons who have done less damage! so why all the angst? just because he was human shouldn’t make a difference! evil is evil!!! it does not matter what shape or form they come in! i think i understand why gunn is upset, because fred went to wes. and fred is upset because she actually went to wes in the first place. damn those human emotions! but they should not be upset because of the actual physical act of damning this evil man to an awful life in a hell dimension!!!
