In an interview published at the 11th Hour Web magazine, former “Babylon 5” star and current California 24th District Republican congressional candidate Jerry Doyle, who played Security Chief Michael Garibaldi, sounded off about supposed plans for a revival of the concept for the science-fiction series, which ran four seasons in syndication and one on TNT.Without sharing any specifics, Doyle said, “It’s something I truly believe still has great legs and should be up and running, and there are several proposals out there to put a ‘Babylon 5’-related project back on the air.”
Any such project would require the cooperation of Warner Bros., which produced the show, the cast (Doyle says he has spoken to some of them, and they’re interested) and the show’s creator, J. Michael Straczynski.
But before fans of the show get all excited, here’s the reaction to the whole affair from Straczynski: “It’s all blue sky, I wouldn’t put much stock in it.”
On Sept. 25, “B5” returns to the airwaves on Sci Fi Channel, with the five existing seasons running Monday-Friday at 7 p.m. (ET) in letterbox format. The premiere is preceded on Sept. 24 by a special episode of the “Sciography” series, which looks at how the show was created and produced.

If there were more episodes of B5, I’d love to see Bruce willis guest star as the brother of Michael garabaldi…..I can see it now..
As Bruce calls garbaldi little mikee and puts him in a head lock as they tease each other about their baldness….who looks better and lost their hair first….& dared to try propecia (-:
