KeymasterJust in case anyone cares….
Earth Final Conflict finale “Final Conflict” will be shown on the week of May 13 in the USA, check your local times. If you havent watched the series in years tune in, Boone, Sandoval, Da’an, Zo’or, Liam are all supposed to have appearences in the final rap up.
To bring you up to date:
After last season all the Taelons either were in Stasis or “merged” with the remaining Jaridians. The result was the Proto-Species “Atavus”. This season all the familiar faces are gone in lieu of new ones as the Atavus are slowly turning humanity into monsterous Hybrids. Atavus feed like Vampires, sucking the life force from their victims bodies.
Liam is presumed dead after Series 4, and Boone was found and revived this series and once again has become one of Earths champions. Sandoval as always has sold out to the Atavus seeking to become King or at the very least Prince of Earth.
As it stands now coming into the final episodes Earth is clearly falling under Atavus dominance. Renee Palmer has been seeking and finally found a cure to the Hybrid situation.
Both Zo’or and Boone were brought out of stasis. Boone once again joined the resistance and Zo’or was turned into a beautiful female Hybrid(Taelons were sexless).
Augur has become a recluse and in his place Juliet Street has become the “hacker” for the Resistance. She is also the only human capable of doing mathmatics past the 4th dimension. She was recently turned into a Hybrid.
So join in, for one final romp and lets all hope the Earth gets it Lexx-style

GuestHmmmm ok, so when did this show become of intrest to anyone? I watched the first 5 episodes, and gave it a rest after that. Seems as if some of Gene’s ideas were better left dead.

DWhy did they kill Sandoval!!!!!
I always thought he was going to die redeeming himself. Instead he looked Renee right in the eye and quoted “The Prince”:
“When people ask tell them I have no regrets and I would do it all again”
What an evil *******!!!!
But what an episode!
It begins like Old School EFC and Ends like Lexx.
Prelude:
The Taelons came to Earth at the end of the 20th century. They ended war, they ended hunger, they ended poverty. And for this they only wished to bask in our glory at the apex of our evolution. The truth was they were dying. They were also fighting an ancient enemy known as the Jaridian.
The Jaridian and Taelon were once one species. Their penultimate proto-species was the Kimera a race that the Taelons wiped out. The Taelon and Jaridian were once Atavus, a species named after an ancient spinoff of the Kimera and a Latin word for “ultimate predecessor” but in a negative sense. Like for example a Human Atavus would be a monkey of some sort, or possibly a cave man.
In any event the Taelons true purpose was to dominate us. Ever since their race had split into the Taelon and Jaridian both species had been dying. The Taelons no longer had the energy or will to give birth and their infinite core energy was now dwindling. They tried making Hybrids of Humans and Taelons. They used us to fight their war against the Jaridian, an alien race that wanted originally only to be our friends but the Taelons intercepted that message shortly before their arrival.
The series began with William Boone, a new recruit to the Taelons whos only barred from joining the Taelons because of his devotion to his wife. His wife is assassinated by Ronald Sandoval FBI agent and Protector to Da’an and for 99% of the series Zo’or leader of the Synod.
William Boone is recruited after his wifes death by Sandoval to serve the Taelons as Da’ans protector. He is given a CVI- Cyber Viral Implant which allows him to use all 100% of his brain giving him the ability of Total Recall being able not only to see memories with perfect clarity but to live in those memories as he chooses.
The first episode opens with the Assassination of Jonathon Doors, owner and CEO (at the time) of Doors Enterprises. The assassination is actually a ruse to fake Doors death so he can become the leader of the Resistance against the Taelons.
Series 1 ends with Boones death at the hands of the new leader of the Synod Zo’or.
Series 2 brings about the new main character up until the 5th and final season
Liam Kincaid Liam was conceived during the final episodes of Series 1 when the last surviving Kimera returns to create a hybrid of ALL aliens that exist.
The end result is Liam, who grows to manhood in under a day, his first words and his mothers last words were:
“My name is Liam” “Call him Liam”
Liam is mostly human, partly Kimera as demonstrated through vestigal organs called “Sha’kar’rivar” the rest of him is comprised of every alien DNA.
We find out in this season that the Taelons have been dying for thousands of years, and thousands of years ago they searched for a race capable of reaching even a higher level of technology to recharge the Taelons core energy. The only race capable of this was a primative race called “Earthlings”. They sent a single Taelon to find out wether or not Humans could be a Partner with the Taelons or would they need to be subjected to help?
Ma’el was the name of this alien, and he became Humanities first God. He taught humanity how to read and write, and added Taelon DNA to us to help us evolve faster and further. The revelation comes to us when we realize all of our technology isnt based upon how humans were evolving but rather off another race like Taelons. Why would cavemen evolve into Towers and build statues when we were mud hut dwellers a generation previously, things like that.
Ma’El had decided that humanity would not only be partners with the Taelons, but equals.
This ****ed Zo’or off to no end. So he decided the information was moot and humanity would follow whatever the hell he/she dictates. (Taelons are sexually ambigious, no females or males. But they are all played by Female actors)
Liam meanwhile for the next few seasons begins to unravel this mystery. And unlike the first hero Boone, Liam will NOT sacrifice the Taelons. He feels he is neutral not partial towards any side. He is very much a Christ figure in the series with some “Grand Destiny”
By the 3rd season we begin to figure it all out. One of the original cast Lili Marquette is taken by Sandoval and turned into a Jaridian/Human Hybrid and sent to Jaridia. It turns out Sandoval has always hated the Taelons and blamed them for what he was forced to do to his wife. Sandoval shows many signs of potentially being a hero this season and goes through a great deal of conflict next season when his wife returns and Humanity betrays him and makes him their pariah.
Series 3 is filled with answers. Everything from the beginning is explained and brought together. The Taelons are dying, the Jaridians are on their way to destroy both Humanity and Taelon. We also get a ton of politcal intrigue and both Doors father and son die.
Series4
This season comes to its conclusion over a course of events that includes a piece of “Dark Energy” colliding with the Taelon Mothership effectivly killing all the Taelons until Liam chooses to release his Kimera Shakariva and expel the Dark Energy.
His Kimera father appears and reveals to him that he has only taken the first step in his Grand Destiny. The next episode Liam finds a ATAVUS REGENERATION CHAMBER This chamber can restore both Jaridian and Taelon, but Liam doesent know how or what exactly will happen. Zo’or ambushes him at the chamber and tries to sieze the power for himself he quotes:
“There is one human saying I’ve always agreed with: THE STRONG SHALL SURVIVE!”
And with that Zo’or siezes the power and fades into a tiny energy stamp on the floor. Without properly using the Atavus regeneration he turned himself into an embreyo basically. Da’an runs in screaming “My Child, My Child!” with Jaridian in tow. Liam quickly convinces them that there million year war was futile, and he is the “Arbitor of the Kimera” part of a prophecy both the Taelon and Jaridian have believed in.
Their belief is that an Oracle will come with Liams face and will have Shakarivar. Liam fulfills his destiny when the doors close on both Taelon and Jaridian and Liam raises his hands to the sky shouting something like:
“I do not know what future this will bring. Its all in destiny’s hand now”
And with that the Volcano exploded destroying Liam. I admit I shedded a tear, and mainly because it was the last best EFC till series finale.
Series 5 sucked. The gist is that Liam was a “Bringer of Darkness” and Renee was the “Bringer of Light”. Liams actions merged both Jaridian and Taelon and ressurected the “ATAVUS”. A species that once ruled Earth millions of years ago. And they make the Taelons and Jaridians look like Kittens by comparison.
Slowly the Atavus take over Earth making humans into their food and Hybrids to cover their existance. Hybrids are all in the highest seats of power and Earth looks lost.
Eventually Renee finds a cure for Hybrids, and a weapon to kill Atavii.
William Boone returns, he was not dead but only in statis. He is later killed saving refugees or some excuse for not being able to get him in the Finale’.
Zo’or also returns, but her energy print left behind is turned into an Atavus. So she gets to be Female finally and damn hot I might add. Her and Boone have a fabulous fight that ends in stalemate. Boooo.
Now to the Final Episode!
The episode begins with Renee Palmer, former CEO of Doors Industry former collaborater of the Resistance and all around overdramatic down to her fake blonde hair. This episode she almost appears as if she wants to act! And to help her along our old dead friend Liam Kincade jumps out of the woodwork (Literally)
In the previous episode Renee was told that her personal “Final Conflict” as well as Earths “Final Conflict” was at hand. And Renee’s destiny was aboard the old Taelon mothership.
A ghost of a Taelon that has been guiding her this season, the last Taelon by the way appears telling her an old friend has returned.
Lo and Behold when Renee turns around from behind an Atavus chamber comes our old friend Liam Kincaid.
Commercial of course……
Liam explains that he was not dead. That in fact he really cant be killed, he has been exploring the unconcious. Literally travelling around the universe in Spirit. And he is here for her to help her with her Final Conflict.
The Mothership has been powered down since last season when the Taelons ‘went away in stasis’ or merged with the Jaridian.
Since Liam is part of every alien species including the Atavus he knows exactly where Howlyns ship is.
Howlyn is the leader of the Atavus known generically as the “Royals”. Him and his sister Judah who died in an earlier episode. On board Howlyns ship is the means to destroy humanity so he can take over along with a gigantic cadre of super fighters, his personal guard.
Liam leads the fight aboard their ship, tearing apart things as he goes along. Liam is still a badass apparantly All of his companions die off as he makes his way towards the bridge. Howlyns son who we met in a previous episode comes along to help them. He loves his father very much but holds true to the old Atavus ways.
Speaking of I need to explain something. Atavus for all their crazy vampire evil like ways arent evil. They are honorbound extremely moral and egocentric race. They are not evil, but were turned evil by the way they were brought back by Liam. Howlyn was once a great man worthy of great respect, but its hard to believe it cause we only hear about never see it.
Howlyns son however is still this way. His mother was human too so Howlyn while loving his son, hates that he reminds him of his mother. Howlyn brings back his protectors and it looks like humanity is doomed. But Howlyns son continues to berate Howlyn for how he acts and soon Howlyns lieutenants call him weak for not killing his Son immediatly for challenging authority.
Howlyns lieutenant kills him unfortunatly, not Renee or Liam go figure. And as his son is about to be killed Renee saves him. Upon Howlyns death a 3minute self destruct has started, and Howlyns son says the only way for them to go back to the Atavus Motherworld is to get the core from the Atavus engine room and bring it to the Taelon Mothership.
Okay Lexx fans listen up
They recover the Core and escape with seconds remaining. They return to the Taelon Mothership where Liam takes Renee’s hands and explains the true future to her.
He explains that everything that has happened has led up to this point in time. Renee Palmer is the *only* human capable of taking Human values into the unknowns of Space where millions upon millions of Races exist.
Renee is to be the Herald of Humanity with Liam as her guide, and Howlyns son and the last surviving Taelon in tow.
The Series ends with Renees reluctant acceptance and the Taelon mothership turns out of Earths orbit and disapears into Dimensional Space.
Okay 4 people with totally different personalities aboard a gigantic world killing ship going off on a Star Trek? Sound familiar????
