TINA!!! Wooooo!!!
Also Walter is credited as “Dr. Longbore” for those who wanted to know. I checked my copy of “Texx Lexx”.
Perhaps I’ll include a season 4 credits page if I ever stay on my duff long enuff to register at Tripod.

Zev Bellringer-Eva Haberman, Xenia Seeberg
Kai-Michael McManus

Lyekka-Louise Wischermann
Laleen/Bunny-Patricia Zentilli
His Divine Shadow-Lex Gigeroff/Walter Borden (v)
Dr. Ernst Longbore-Walter Borden

Digby-Ryan CooleyIt covers all characters who appear in 3 or more episodes (unless I screwed up). If I forgot a character or misspelled a name please let me know. “Velma” was a reference to Tina’s resemblance to the character on Scooby-Doo, X. To quote Foghorn Leghorn “That’s a joke, son.”

How could I forget about that scene?!! Well, there’s so much packed into one episode it’s hard to recall everything sometimes, which is great!! Reminds of how much stuff goes on in only 22 min of Red Dwarf.

There are errors in the episode capsules. That’s a fact. People don’t trust them to be completely accurate.
And why do you always have to pick on me, F.X.? I’ve never been anything but amiable, benevolent, and selfless. At the other message boards I go to the people are nice back, but here there are a lot of meaningless arguments, personal attacks, etc.

Yes, everybody’s nuts.
My brother watches Cartoon Network about 24/7 so I’ve caught a little Scooby-Doo. It reminds me of the P.R.O.B.E. series (I suppose now Aleck will respond with a 7-paragraph post about how Scooby-Doo and P.R.O.B.E. are nothing alike ).
I saw the episode where the characters are on their way to some place and their hippy fan breaks down and they encounter some apparently supernatural entity and run and then they talk to this guy who tells them the area is haunted and the three “serious” characters go investigating but it’s the goofy kid and the dog that accidentally stumble upon the evidence that the monster is a hoax to avert attention from an illegal operation then when all the characters are together that monster reappears and it turns out to be the guy they met in the beginning of the episode in a mask. Oh, and in the final scene everyone’s laughing.
Anyway, my cartoon-addicted brother says there were 6 spinoffs of the show, which is really scary. He also says Bubbles is the hottest Powerpuff Girl, so I guess having a thing for one of the girls on Scooby-Doo isn’t so nuts.

Actually, no. I won’t argue, since I never watched the show, and a superficial look at the synopsis makes the two certainly sound similar (even though Scooby Doo, Where Are You? appeared 19 years before it).
And it’s nice to know that the selfless, humble DT thinks high enough of himself to believe that my life revolves around countering his posts, when, frankly, it’s just fun, easy and quick work to prove him wrong.

That describes the plotline of every single episode of Scooby Doo! You forgot to mention the classic line that’s always given by the bad guy at the end of every episode, “…and my plan would have worked if it wasn’t for those meddling kids!”

Actually, it’s 25 years by my count. I believe you’re thinking of Probe, the 80s miniseries. I’m talking about P.R.O.B.E., the 90s movie series.

And I would’ve gotten away with it, too…
It’s just that you like to attack my viewpoints, and the statement that P.R.O.B.E. is like Scooby-Doo is just the kind to spark controversey.
Now, if there are any fans out there thinking of writing a flame post, I apologize for the comparison. The P.R.O.B.E. movies have a somewhat different premise, more realistic characters, genuinely suprising endings, and overall better writing. It was, admittedly, somewhat naïve to compare them to a crude and clichéed 60s cartoon show. It’s just that, when I first saw Scooby-Doo, my first thought was “My God! It’s like an animated P.R.O.B.E.!”

Perhaps some law of nature dictates that sci-fi-addicted geezers must have cartoon-addicted siblings. When I mentioned to my brother that some people on one of my message boards were talking about his favorite show, he gave me a 15-minute briefing on Scooby-Doo, Where are You? and its spinoffs so I would know what to say the next time I posted on the thread. GuestIn the last episode Tina was holding up this cardboard thing and it had photos of a bunch of skulls on it. Well I recognize 2 skulls! One is the Star Child, one of two Grey skulls found in Anasazi territory. The other is from Mesopotamia and was on a T.V. special with Erich von Däniken. Both are from human-alien hybrids that lived in ancient societies where beings from outer space were worshipped as gods. The makers of the show have been continually hinting that the Grey will appear in a later episode!

The descendants of Northern Peoples are groping in universal darkness. Their mother mourns. A dark occasion forebodes a time when weakness in high places will revive a high cost of living and an interval of mistakes in high places, an interval fit for distressing.

aside from the explanation of the acronym already provided, cat, the phrase comes from american military (army actually, approximately world war II)…the various arms of tthe american military use acronyms both to shorten communication, and to avoid getting dinged for profanity over the airwaves…for example, tu in the airforce/naval aviation is tits up or dead, also known as toes up…sierra hotel is pilot lingo for “**** hot”…more classless american trivia for you guys across the pond…

Thank you for creating the one and only Tina fanpage. Helps when trying to get her true geekiness down pat for writing stories.

Physiognomy? Huh?
I write it “F.X.” because “FX” doesn’t look right to me. Just like I capitalize names like Crusader even though they write them all lower case. Of course, my name gets messed with all the time. “Dalek,” “dalek tek,” “DT7″…
You are female, right? I’d hate to be incorrect about that.
Normally I would say we need to get back on topic, but this isn’t really a topic, it’s just a bunch of random posts on the topis of whatever the person was thinking of at the time.

i was using the word somewhat facetiously and promiscuously; it refers to the old pseudoscience of predicting a person’s character by their outward appearance(that the inner person is reflected in their outer packaging)…for example, since we are all here on a science fiction board, one might assume we all look like geeks …not the case obviously as we have all seen pictures of various lexxians, and x assures us he is cute whereas aleck says he looks like a derivative of lon chaney …you have always been circumspect regarding your appearance however…
