LEXX Cast Chat! 19th December!

An on-line chat with some of the Lexx cast is being organised on Saturday, Dec. 4. It will likely be held in the early afternoon Eastern Standard Time (approximately 7 or 8 p.m on the Continent and in the U.K., 10 or 11 a.m. on the west coast of North America, 5 or 6 a.m. in Australia). The tentative lineup so far: Brian Downey, Ellen Dubin, Jeff Hirschfield, Patricia Zentilli, and Xenia Seeberg. Mind you, there may be further additions. The chat will be held on an IRC channel.

Well if is on fef.net you might be able to use the SadChat portal in a pinch. That will get you there and the command to change rooms is really quite easy.
UPDATE: Several of the cast have commitments for Dec. 4, so the chat has been rescheduled for Dec 19 at 1 p.m. EST. Stay tuned for further details.
we’re terribly sorry for the late update, but here it is now…
the chat will take place on dec.19, 1 pm EST, that’s 7 pm CET (Europe time) and 6 pm GMT (UK time) 🙂 on IRC.fefnet. so far we have Brian, Ellen, Jeff and Patty, and we still hope we’ll get Nigel and Jeff Pustil for the chat as well :).
for those of you who’re not familiar with IRC: The lexxfans.com bored has now installed an IRC portal. There is a chat room button at the top of the page that currently links to #lexxfans. Interested or bored bored members might want to take a minute and try it out. Apparently, it doesn’t play nicely with every browser. Bug reports and feedback are appreciated.
we’ll announce the name of the room on saturday, 18th. the chat room client on lexxfans.com will lead to the new room, so those of you who plan to use it don’t have to make any changes.

hello lexxians,
the chat will take place in #lexxchat on irc.fefnet.
you can either use the chat client on lexxfans.com which will lead directly to the room on sunday (no installation needed, just press the button “chat room” on the very top of our forum) or log in directly if you’re using an irc client, such as mirc, Excursion, Trillian etc.
there’s a chance that xenia will join us too, so keep your fingers crossed that she can make it tomorrow!!!
don’t forget to be there in time… 1 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. GMT, 7 p.m. CET and so on ;).

We co8uld do, but that will prolly be on the supercool lexxfans site. They are hosting and doing all the organising etc.
theFrey: I’m using it at the moment. It seems ok – a bit slow 🙁
[i]I recommend that sadpeeps use a dedicated client like [b]mIRC[/b] or something like that. Java irc is tricky with large groups unless they are hosted on a quick server[/i].
