KeymasterIm trying to get my Lexx site (www.xraylexx.moonfruit.com) registered with various Search Engines. Which engine do most people here use? Any other good places to get my site listed?

GuestDo you have to pay for that site? I remember trying out moonfruit and after a month they said my free trial was over and I would have to start paying about 5 quid a month.

GuestYea. Its £3.99 a month for all my Moonfruit sites. Do you like it? loads of work involved.

GuestThe design is nice. Maybe this is just me being fussy but I think the sites are too small, sometimes hard to read the writing. I prefer Tripod, it’s easy and free!

Inactiveyahoo is still an important one to be on (and also one of the hardest to get listed in – took me a couple of years!)
altavista were still taking submissions last time I looked, as was google (one of the most important these days, possible more so than AV)
You need to submit to dmoz/odp at http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/add.cgi?where=Arts/Television/Programs/Science_Fiction_and_Fantasy/Lexx
Take a look at http://www.laisha.com/search.html (waves to Laisha in case she pops in again)
IF you’re really serious consider paying for inclusion at places like http://www.positiontech.com/

InactiveX-Ray Lexx: Lexx, the unique Sci-Fi Series. X-Ray Lexx, the one and only and greatest Flash based Lexx site.
That was quick jedi.. pity that moonfruit is broken so I can’t review the description:
(I can tell you now that ‘one and only and greatest’ won’t be accepted – too editorial:P)

GuestWell, I use Google. Google’s the best of ’em, maybe not the most widely used though.
Oh yeah, and although it’s a political site, I have to pitch for it, (shameless self promotion ) www.morons.org has a partenership program you might be interested in.

ParticipantI use dogpile.com. But thatis really of no help since its not a search engine in the traditional sense. What it does is it sends your query out to about 17 other major search engines and returns the top ten results from each one.
