The first cartoon strip of the new series should be on the SadTV page in the next seven days. I had a meeting with Voodoo Multimedia on Thursday (sorry for the late message – puter down [img]/ubb/frown.gif[/img] ) and they have the first storyboard and some real whacky ideas for layout and presentation.
I’m not allowed to tell anyone what the story is, it’s only short. There are one or two copyright issues left to sort out….
Aww, anything else I say wouldn’t be news, only hype, so I guess you’ll see the next SadTV news item when the toon is actually posted on Friday evening.

Yep, I know how you feel, but I’m trying to get away from the hype of the last few weeks and wait and see what will happen.
I had a meeting with the dudes at Voodoo last week and they are certainly working on the cartoon, but their problem is that they have to work out a sort of story arc first. Just doing one cartoon and then another wont work.
The first series will probably be a cartoon strip …. [i]with a difference[/i]. I can’t really explain what it is until I see it myself, but the cartoon strip concept will be pushed to the limit I guess. There will be some animation in the cartoon strip, but not full motion I think.
I have a couple of stills that they have said I can put up, and I’ll do that in the next day or so.
BUT. It’s not likely that the cartoon will be finnished for a few weeks. I think it will be more like next month.
I’ll keep you all posted as I find out more info – but to bew honest, I’m as much in the dark as you are!
