SadGeezerKeymasterI was wondering if any Australian geezers could help me out. You see, I recently found a reference to Alexander Downer dressing in fishnets and heels to advertise (?) a revival (?) of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. And if there is a revival going on, I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to know about it. Or, if there isn’t a revival, I want to know about it anyway…

ParticipantRivival? I didn’t think it went away! It’s always been popular, at least here in the States.

I think Yvonne is using “revival” in the theatrical sense, since she’s talking about a new run of The Rocky Horror Show (not to be confused with RHPS).

ParticipantThe movie had not one but two Lexx actors. Tim Curry (Poet Man) played a mad scientist, and I think Barry Bostwick (Thodin) was the hero.

You’re absolutely correct. Barry Bostwick played Brad Majors, and Tim Curry played Dr. Frank N. Furter. It also starred Susan Sarandon, Richard O’Brien and Meat Loaf, among others.
