GuestIt’s “Lomia” btw..
All I’ve heard is that Louise Wischermann and Patricia Zentilli will be back. Don’t know about anyone else although I’m sure there will be more. It would be nice to see Eva come back.

GuestI’d like to see Thodin (Barry Bostwick) again.
But it probably won’t happen this season. SEASON 512th August 2001 at 9:17 am #49832Anonymous

Dave Carmichael didn’t play Pa Gollean. That was veteran character actor Maury Chaykin, who has also appeared in WarGames, Dances With Wolves, and Mystery, Alaska, among others.

GuestFrom a top babe point of view I would love to see Louise W, Eva H and the sexy Anna Kathrin Bleuler, May and Lyekka gave me extra reason to watch Lexx last season, not that I needed much arm twisting.
I doubt that we will ever see the likes of Barry Bostwick, Malcolm McDowell or Tim Curry again, they are not the sort to appear on T.V shows as one-offs…unless it was something like friends, but they probably would appear for a movie (please God and Paul!!!).

Oh yeah Aleck I can’t believe you forgot “Nero Wolf” which is on an A&E. Also Rooster was played by Jim Fowler.

ParticipantNow, what happened to all that talk of Doreen Jacobi reappearing?
I’d like to see more of Gubby (he was a laugh and a half!) but I doubt the Beans could get someone as well-known as Wayne Robson to appear on their little show again (it was a miracle he could be suckered into doing Patches in the Sky!).
And I’d say the Wozard should be reincarnated on Earth but that actor is currently tied up…on the same show! Walter Borden was both the Wozard and His Divine Shadow, and now he’s playing His Shadow’s contemporary human incarnation (Dr. Ernst Longbore).
Anyway, I think it’s safe to say Mantrid, Lyekka, and Bunny will be in this season, and we’ll see more of Giggerota and Priest.

GuestJuar last night I was daydreaming that Barry Bostwick would show up again. Thodin was cool. I am looking forward to seeing Bunny (Patricia Zentilli?) again.

ParticipantUpdate: So far 16 characters in this season are reincarnations of characters in previous seasons. I made a list a few minutes ago but the stupid board deleted it so I’m retyping it. Here they are-
Laleen/Bunny (Patricia Zentilli)
Living Kai (Michael McManus)
Brock/Joy of Life Missionary (Geoff Herod)
Lorka/Mrs. Priest (Janet Wright)
Rock Hound’s Captain/A.T.F. Agent (Chris Duffy)
Prince/Director Isambard Prince (Nigel Bennet)
Priest/President Reginald J. Priest (Ralph Kaines)
Giggerota/Queen/Pope Genevieve G. Rota (Ellen Dubin)
Schlemmi/Fifi/Farley Cuckle (Jeff Pustil)
Human Lyekka/Lulu (Louise Wischermann)
Lomea/Lomia (Lauren Abrahams)
Dominatrix/Dravidia (Andrea Green)
Ballerina/Mandragora (Rachel Mooney)
Ballerina/Muffy (Angie Hill)
Pa Gollean/Tourist (Maury Chaykin)
Hunter from Leester/Balloonist/Big Angry Ed (Mark Owen)Only four characters who have lived two onscreen lives have not resurfaced on Earth. And we have strong indication that the plant Lyekka will return. Also, I envision Mantrid being reincarnated as the mad scientist trying to find the mass of the Higgs boson.

ParticipantI remember Lex Gigeroff saying at UnCon that they wanted to bring Dieter Laser back for Season4 but they didn’t think they were going to be able to get him because of scheduling conflicts. Too bad. Mantrid is one of my favorite characters.

I liked Mantrid too, but Brian has also said that he is definitely NOT making an appearance in Season 5. Actually, Brian sounded rather glad about it, as it sounds that Dieter Laser was rather, er, intense to work with.

Which makes sense, as there isn’t going to be a Season 5.

GuestHere’s more for your list, DT:
The two prison guards in the execution scene in Little Blue Planet were rednecks from the party scene on Vermal in White Trash.
The guy in the dumpster in Fluff Daddy was Gordon White, who played a zombie in Twilight.
And what about Jeff Hirschfield? Doesn’t the porno pizza guy count as a reincarnation of Big Boy Bando?

That’s interesting. Do you have names for the redneck actors? That would be useful.
I didn’t mark the Hirschfield person as Bando because they don’t seem like the same character, even though the appearance is somewhat similar (because it’s the same actor). The pizza boy could also be the reincarnation of the Divine Shadow (host) who killed Kai, which would make sense since that was the voice of Jeff Hirschfield and Barnab Hufferton is played by Lex Gigeroff and could therefore be the reincarnation of His Shadow’s last human host (the tattoed Gigeroff skinhead with problems). But there isn’t anything about the characters that distinctly marks them as reincarnations. Huff could also be Dr. Rainbow, or one of the other characters he’s played in Lexx’s history.
We can’t know which and it doesn’t seem like any. The reuse of actors outside of reincarnations makes this hard. For example, Holger Kunkel played Boork in Eating Pattern and Vigo in Mantrid. He reappeared on Fire as one of the “downstairs people” in K-Town. So the Fire character could be the soul of either Boork of Vigo. The indicator is that the Fire-dweller tells the reincarnated Mantrid to get lost, while Vigo was Igor to Mantrid’s Dr. Frankenstein. So I think it’s safe to say the makers intended him to be Vigo’s soul. No such indicator appears in Fluff Daddy to show which Lex and Jeff the fluffers were.
