The difficulties on being a sci-fi parent:
You are exhausted all the time..not just from parenting but from having to wait until they have all gone to bed to watch all your pre-taped shows.
When you teach your child to speak Klingon it is not regarded as funny by the same people who laughed at the “Daddy Daycare” movie.
“Klingon” does not qualify as a second-language bursary or for entrance to college.
No treats for your “Chode” outfitted child at Halloween
The Doctor won’t test your child’s Midichlorian levels.
Teaching your chiild how to kill honorably is not looked kindly upon by child welfare.
