I will see it this week also thefrey. I like the look of it, the best thing they could have done was get rid of the Kiera Knightley/ Orlando Bloom love storyline.

Can you believe. Five minutes into the d*mn film and the fire alarm went off. They evacuated the place and shut down for the rest of the night. 🙁No. Worse luck, it was inside locked up. So I got a raincheck. Bummer it was for a movie location not anywhere near my house (close to my bf’s friend) so we whined that we was unlikely to ever come this far again.The manager lady gave us each a second one for a guest.
Dang, I was hoping to hear how it was from someone who doesn’t sugarcoat things. I go to the movies so rarely, I’d hate to drag my sad behind to a crapfest or waste money on a rehash.
I really haven’t heard any good about it at all, then again, I can’t remember hearing anything good about any but the very first of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Specifically "rehash" seems to be pretty close to what the reviews I’ve read say about it, while some pretty much call it a crapfest. I’d avoid it personally, but I’m not a fan of the previous movies in the franchise either.
