So how come Sadgeezer.com does not have an entry?!
What should we use as a model? The LEXX? Red Dwarf?

He’s building a rocket in his back yard. I wonder if he’s in the competition?

SgtDraino, that’s a great link. So his his rocket will be fueled by hydrogen peroxide… I wonder if platinum Blondie will “man” it?

There’s a legendary Chinese story about a man, I want to say in the 16th century, but it may be much older than that.
Anyway, this guy was very wealthy and had many servants. His solitary dream was to be the first man in space. So he took his favorite chair, and built a giant platform underneathe it. He loaded the most valuble, powerful rockets that they had at the time and positioned them to lift the platform.
On the big day in question, his servants lined up the fuses and had everything set perfectly for all the rockets to fire at once, sending the man in his comfortable chair into space.
The fuse was lit……….and then BANG! A huge ball of smoke and fire, and when the smoke cleared, the man was gone. Many people argued that clearly he had succeeded, while others miles away found a finger and wondered where it came from.
I’ll post the story when I find it =) One of my favorites.
The mans name was Wan-Hu, here’s a depiction

I’ll indirectly link it so I don’t steal bandwidth, just click on the link[/url]
